Concrete is in our DNA

There was no shiny business plan in place when FoleyCrete started out.  

After years working as a general contractor, doing a bit of landscaping, fencing and concreting, Floyd decided he better pick one trade and do it well. 

After settling on concrete driveways, he got to work building an honest business from the ground up.   

His son, Callum, grew up around it, too, tagging along to jobs in school holidays, gumboots on, learning to pour before he was old enough to call it work. 

Fast-forward a few decades

A lot has changed since then. The business has grown, the workload’s bigger and FoleyCrete has built a reputation for honest advice and quality workmanship. 

These days, it’s a full family effort with Callum and Floyd joined by members of the wider family and a trusted team of staff and contractors.

    A driveway is only as good as what's beneath. We take prep seriously, so the finished job has the right foundation.  

  • Sort drainage early →

    Poor drainage leads to puddles, mess and problems later. We look at how water needs to move before we pour, so your driveway or slab is planned properly from the start. 

  • Cut at the right time →

    Concrete naturally moves as it cures. We cut control joints on the day of the pour then add expansion cuts a day later to help reduce the risk of random cracking and ensure the finish looks sharp. 

  • Protect the property →

    We wrap your home to catch concrete splashes and take extra care around services, edges and finished surfaces. 

  • Finish with care →

    Clean lines, tidy edges and a good finish don’t happen by accident. We take the time to work the concrete properly and leave a result we’re proud to put our name to.
