When the boss builds his own holiday home, the driveway better stack up.

He went with full black concrete, acid etched and sealed with a matte finish to suit the home's beachy architectural design.

Tight access meant the whole lot was pumped in, with catchpits for drainage and a thickened edge for the retaining wall.

Big enough to park a 4x4 with the boat in tow.

A bespoke landscaping project at a high-end riverside property, and a challenging site.

Multiple levels, multiple finishes including exposed aggregate, plain concrete and full black, plus structural steps for tiling and a second set finished in rounded Cemcote.

Eight weeks working in with other trades, with access tight enough to need a pump.

EXPOSED AGGREGATE DRIVEWAY AND PAVERS – ARCHITECTURAL BUILD, RAGLAN

A high-end architectural build for White Wood Homes, with bespoke pavers set on odd angles and landscaping features to tie the whole look together.

A sloped section with very limited access meant line pumps and careful staging around the landscapers.

Client had high expectations going in that were exceeded coming out.

EXPOSED AGGREGATE DRIVEWAY – GJ GARDNER SHOW HOME, HAMILTON

A show home needs a top quality pour that makes a solid first impression.

This project included a driveway, paths and patio in exposed aggregate with half black oxide, worked around a sloped section, tight access and a set of steps.

It all came together: smart, sharp and right at home with the design.

We poured a full range of finishes across the drive, patio, pavers and nibs, incorporating brick carpark zones, curves and angled pavers, all with access squeezed by existing homes.
